    Achebe

forreal . .. MAN I'm beginning to not like this guy . . his attitude is crap
his work ethics is beyond suspect.

    When I see him . . . I think of Platoon
    [or Full Metal Jacket]

Kenny and Los . . .use the sheets on his bed
to hold him down while Cat, Mo, Franchise
    Moochie, Bullard, Colson, Collier, Langhi
and even the Dream . . . Wrap their bars of
soap up in a towel . . and WACK HIM UNTIL HE
    TOUGHENs Up.

Is anyone else worried about the "SI Curse?" Now that people are starting to pay attention to the Rockets. . .

nice article... that's cool the guys meet at Cat's mom house before every home game.

River, is it just me or does Cato refuse to accept any responsibility? When Dream originally went down he said "oh I don't think it falls on me to step up, I think Los will step up". WTF? LOL.

River, here's Cato's latest tidbit of wisdow (following the Clippers loss).

"Right now, I don't think it's anything we're not doing except we're not winning," Cato said. "There's too much emphasis on the defense. It's we're not making enough easy plays. We've got to get easier baskets at the beginning of the game."

I wonder why Cato would argue that the defense isn't failing? Perhaps b/c it's the only thing expected from him. [IMG]

There is no such thing as too much emphasis on defense.

    Defense wins championships.

But you wouldn't know anything about that, would you Mr. Cato?

    Freaking bust...

Damnit, it IS the SI curse. Great article. Then, BAM!, 3 losses in a row.

Hakeem's return will be inspirational, especially as I will be there at the Suns game. I will root on my team and hope for the best. Lose? Lottery pick is safe and secure. Win? (And by this, I mean, win out.) Playoffs.

But damn that SI curse. We were winning'em all.
