The coach isn't the only change the Denver Nuggets are considering. Along with talking with NBA officials in New York on Thursday about the upcoming goodwill trip to military bases overseas, Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe also mentioned improving the team's logo. If the Nuggets change their logo, they also would change their uniforms. Since changing from the ABA to the NBA for the 1976-77 season, the Nuggets have used three logos. Maxi Miner was the logo from 1974-81, the Denver skyline was the logo from '81-93, and a snow-capped mountain peak has been used since 1993. When asked about the logo change, Vandeweghe said: "We're interested in what our fans think. If you have any suggestions, let us know. This is Denver's team and our fans' team." Story
I don't think the Nugz jersey/logo is that bad. Definitely better than what you guys used to have. It COULD be worse...
Raptors are updating their uniforms too. They will be removing any mention of Toronto, replace it with Raptors and make other minor changes to market the team to all of Canada and not just the Toronto area.
I know you didn't just insult the rainbow jerseys! I love those things! You have to admit, they were definately distinctive.
Holy crap. At least you got rid of that one. Come on, the current ones don't look that bad. Okay yeah they do. Or maybe it's just because Juwon Howard is wearing it.
Yeah they were distinctive all right. Kinda like the old astros jerseys were distinctive...ugly but distinctive.
i love the nugs' jerseys. To me, they are simple, yet clean and fresh looking. Plus, they don't seem like they would age poorly- like you could still wear them 10 or 20 years from now and they don't look dated. All in all, they are some of my favorites in the nba because of their simplicity.
Maybe someone can find a better one. The white ones were the best/worst...depending on which way you look at it.
