I am almost positive we won't be picking at 23rd spot.

Probably a good guess, but then Morey also said he feels the draft has quality players to about 40.

My money would be on Nikola Mirotic.

If we do buy a early 2nd, then we probably had to give our #38 away in a trade. Just saying...

How many people are we going to stash?

Damn, we might as well have a Houston Rockets team playing in the Euroleagues, Australian Leagues, Turkey Leagues, etc.

Hell, when are going to bring back Mirsad Turkcan to play with this squd?

It's worth a shot. Morey can find a gem and the 2nd rd rough in drafts.

If we do a several-for-one deal (#14, #23, Hill for #5, for example), we are freeing up roster spots. Might as well draft a few 2nd-rounders, bring them in for whatever pre-season we have, keep the best 2-3 players.

Not necessarily. We just might want a guy who we fell like would not be there at #38 (i.e. Mirotic).

Like Clutch said though, Daryl is on record saying he feels like there are good players to about #40, so we very well might keep the #38 pick.

We might go with a second Euro at #38 (i.e. Bogandovic or Rabaseba) or go with an American player, who we've rated higher than others (Darius Morris?).

I know it's been said before, but Jimmy Butler seems like a Daryl Morey player. College Senior, good track record of success, no holes in his game. He's almost sure to be a solid NBA player for a while. He might be the steal of the second round.
