According to CBS Sportline player rankings, Cato, Mobes and Francis are among the best at their position. In fact SF is the #1 PG and ranked #3 overall. 1. Steve Francis, HOU 80.32 3 39.7 29.3 9.7 4.7 49.2 82.1 Injuries slowed Francis down last season, but this aerial artist is healthy and ready to go. Francis has a lot of young talent around him -- including Cuttino Mobley, Eddie Griffin and Yao Ming -- who should take some of the defensive pressure off. http://www.sportsline.com/nba/playerrankings/OVER If this was posted before, my apologies.
Statistical rating systems usually are messed up, but Steve's stats definetly are incredible. Cat at 18 is pretty good also. The Rockets have 2 of the best guards in the league. Our backcourt is definetly the best in the leauge.
You guys notice how Mobley's ppg has gone up since he came into the league every year. I think pretty soon that will go back down to about 20 ppg. When everyone comes back and the scoring spreads around, I think Rudy has got to get him to do the other things you need to win.
I agree with you that Mobley can actually make a difference beyond scoring as well as being the coach on the court.
I don't agree. He must learn that he doesn't need to shoot everytime he gets the rack. I love Cat, but he shoots too much. His shot selection is pretty bad.
Did anyone see how Juaquin Hawkins's rating is the 9th highest rookie rating? Ming shows up at #24 and Nachbar is ranked #27. I'm really starting to like this J-Hawk character
Same here. J-Hawk is the type of guy that can easily turn into a team favorite. He works hard, is a great defender, and has a nice shot.
Yeah. Steve is playing inredible tonight. It is too bad that he is in foul trouble. That last foul was a questionable call.
Hopefully we won't have an incident similar to last year in Utah when he was ejected while having the game of his life.
