I'm going to say it right here for everyone

The Rockets will get a Top 10 Lottery Pick.

My reasoning behind this are based on 3 simple factors:
    1. When teams pick for their order in the lottery draft, the results are NEVER what anyone expects
    2. Clutch City returns for 10-11 season (new decade for Houston sports)
    3. In Morey We Trust

I don't know if you understand how the lottery works. Only the top 3 picks are "picked" by the lottery system ... after those 3 are chosen at random, picks 4-14 go by record. So if we don't get chosen for one of those with what will be less than 1% odds, we will almost assuredly pick in the spot that we finish.

Ditto... Right now we're right with Memphis for that 13th pick... most likely won't reach the top 10 barring a miracle. So if we don't hear the Rockets name when they start to name teams... we're in the top 3.

I'll assume you mean the Rox will trade into the top 10 which I also believe is a STRONG possiblity. I think with the new CBA coming into effect for the 11-12 season a lot of 1 and 2 yr guys will coming out so the draft will be STACKED. If we stand pat then I say go for Udoh from Baylor but if we're moving up into the top 10 then Cousins, Monroe, Patterson, maybe Wesley Johnson all become options.

Because Chuck Hayes would hold him to negative a-thousand points. The guy plays way too far below the rim and moves way too slow. He isn't tall enough to get away with it.

Yeah if we don't move up I think Udoh will be a excellent choice. I was at the Duke-Baylor game (sigh) and Udoh was awesome! He is really active and atheletic and would be an excellent fit for this Rockets team..

I am one of those who though Shane for Gay/Thabo was a good move but THIS version of the Rox already has Ariza/JJ to be the Defensive Wing/Big, long winded way of saying....HELL NO!!!!

Here's the odds for each team to get whichever pick:
    Code:
    Seed Chances 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th 10th 11th 12th 13th 14th
    1 250 .250 .215 .178 .357
    2 199 .199 .188 .171 .319 .123
    3 156 .156 .157 .156 .226 .265 .040
    4 119 .119 .126 .133 .099 .351 .160 .012
    5 88 .088 .097 .107 .261 .360 .084 .004
    6 63 .063 .071 .081 .439 .305 .040 .001
    7 43 .043 .049 .058 .599 .232 .018 .000
    8 28 .028 .033 .039 .724 .168 .008 .000
    9 17 .017 .020 .024 .813 .122 .004 .000
    10 11 .011 .013 .016 .870 .089 .002 .000
    11 8 .008 .009 .012 .907 .063 .001 .000
    12 7 .007 .008 .010 .935 .039 .000
    13 6 .006 .007 .009 .960 .018
    14 5 .005 .006 .007 .982
Everything that's blank is obviously a 0% chance.
