Apparently the Rockets would like to trade the 9th pick in order to get at least 2 other picks in the draft. Rumors have it that other than Etan Thomas, the Rockets have interest in Najera and Porter. The Rockets would like to get both. These two players would help the front court tremendously as Thomas is a great defensive player while Najera is more of an offensive player. As for Porter he would be great at the SF position.

Although I wouldn't mind the Rockets drafting Harvey either.

Personally, I'd be shocked if we choose Porter. I think he's a great player, but we're stocked at the 2-3 position. If anything we'd be getting him for a trade. I'm fairly impressed with Najera (isn't he the guy who hit free throws after being knocked unconsiouce in the ncaa a couple years ago?), and he'll probably fit into the running system fine.

Najera played for Oklahoma. He is said to be going in the middle of the second round. (could be a sleeper in the draft). He is a type of player Rudy T. likes

here is some info on him:

As for Porter, I think he will be a great addition for the Rockets (or any other team). Although the Rockets main need right now is to get some size at the PF position.
