I'd rather the Rockets take a look at Stevenson. He's not the blackhole on offense that Murray is.

It also says the Nuggets are interested in John Lucas III.

Foucher doesn't know who might be ahead of Murray. He said Murray also is getting interest from the Detroit Pistons, Houston Rockets and the Cavaliers and expects to get a deal "right below the midlevel" exception, set at $5,215,000.

No. He'd go to the first team that offered him a guaranteed contract.

There would have to be some sort of handshake agreement, since we gave him the opportunities that no other NBA team gave him this past year. His dad even said he's a good 3rd pg on a contending team. Just give him a guaranteed minimum.

Can Flip shoot 3's? He kind of reminds me of Cuttino, except Cuttino was a good 3 pt shooter his year under JVG.

Murray shoots a career .272 from the three point line.

    Ouch...

Yes, he can shoot 3s. The only resemblance he has to Cat is a penchant for switching the offense to an all-me, all the time game plan. Nice firecracker off the bench if you're in a scoring drought, but not someone that can be a regular part of the team's unit. Unlike Cat, he brings no defense to the table.

This offseason keeps getting worse and worse...I'm happy we have Battier, but am seriously discouraged overall.

I Pray we don't get this guy. I could'nt have said it better myself...he is an all me type of player that plays no defense. For that type of money I'd rather sign Ariza (or someone else making roughly the same) and bring over V-Span.

The disparity of talent between Mike James and Flip Murray is indecent. What a disaster of an offseason.

They should be doing everything they can to land Bonzi Wells.

Hence the meaning of first dibs. We'll get to talk to him first. If we don't offer him a contract that he wants then he'll look elsewhere.

After missing MJ, CD might throw a 5-year MLE to Flip Murray.

BUt Flip is not a JVG-type player.

Every fan will know how suck he is from JVG's comment.

Then he has zero trade value.
