what excactly is it that Tim does? is he in PR for the rockets? im doing a research project in Speech for class and i need to ask questions about the Rockets marketing campaign

can anyone help me out? by giving me Tim's email address (if he is the right guy for this, which i think he is), if not Tim then any email address or phone number to where i could find research on the campaign

these are the questions i need answered:

    1. Who manages the campaign? (is it an outside agency
    or inside department)

    2. Who is your target audience? (gender, age, income,
    kind of person)

    3. What do they do to reach their target?

    4. What kinds of ads do they run (TV, radio, websites,
    billboards, etc)

    5. Is there anything unusual or interesting about the
    campaign?

    6. Does it work? (have sales gone up since doing it,
    do people respond, etc)

    thanks for any help

Rockets Ad Campaign has me very confused and worry for next season

Two years ago it was - BE PART OF SOMETHING BIG

This year it was - BE BIG

now asssuming they use the same genius slogan creators next season and we apply their original logic then the options for next season appear to be either -

    BE

    or

    BIG

    not really sure that works

Well, Calvin Klein already had the "BE" ads with the people that looked like drug rehab rejects that hadn't showered in about a year... all Rasputin-like.

I dont know who Tim is but I do know the answer to your 1st question.
The campaign is managed by an inhouse marketing/advertising department. They handle all aspects or the rockets and comets brands. Including all the website and all of the advertising. I know this because I interviewed with the Rockets ad department awhile back, before I moved from Houston. You should be able to look the number for their office in the phone book or online. Ask for the person in charge. Sorry I cant remember his name, and ask for an interview. Since it is for school, they might be willing to help.

"If we don't do it this year, we needed more time."

The Rockets organization went with the slogan BE BIG
I think they should use the slogan the Rocket players were chanting last august NO EXCUSES
These guys are too talented not to be playing right now.

I hate turnovers. I also hate the idea that turnovers are the greatest evil on a basketball court. Magic was the greatest PG ever, and if you disagree then arguably the greatest PG ever, in the pantheon of all time greats and he was a turnover machine.

This is not an end-all stat. Enough already!!!

thas if we sign that ugly mo of a basketball player that is, i know the spelling is wrong, heudong seung(tall freakish korean "Andre The Giant" Lookalike)... that would be one hell of a big lineup... but then again it would probably be the weakest/softest frontcourt in the history of basketball.

Only thing I know is that all of their marketing is handled in-house.
