On NBA.com the Rockets were listed the SECOND most improved team behind the Atlanta Hawks. Atlanta led with an anstounding 47.8%, then our beloved Rockets at 17.4%. After that it is Washington Wizards, Golden State Warriors then Chicago Bulls. Here is the link for the poll - http://www.nba.com/preview2002/General_Manager_Survey.html But I do think the Rockets will DEFINITELY improve from last year. And I honestly can say this! I DO EXPECT/KNOW the Rockets WILL MAKE the play-offs this year! Because they are HUNGRIER now! They WANT that play-off game!

who else thinks ratliff won't play more than 40 games and the hawks will still miss the playoffs? not that they don't have talent but it's the friggin' hawks. is glen robinson that good? with returning players and the draft i'd say we improved as high as any other team.
Most voters probably are not considering our returning players. With the RP's we are the most improved.
You can have Dickau and Big Dog. I'll take Yao and Boki. With Dermarr's injury that has to knock the Hawks down a notch too. edit: had to delete that quote as i didn't mean to reply to anyone in particular
The Rockets will be much improved this year and get a playoff birth. The Hawks on the other hand will be much improved with a steady player in Robinson, you have to admit he's been consistent in his entire career; with a twenty point average. The Rockets by all means will be the better team though.
