Our team is already as Chet as you can get.

I see 39 wins as I look at the schedule barring injuries (not including pre season)

Also the national game should’ve been in Detroit, our crowd will embarras us by not showing up and there’s no hate for Cade here…how can they mess this up so bad?!

Man, I remember when I used to be excited about our schedule. We have Minny as our first game bro.

    It feels bad.

How many of the first 10 do you see them winning?

    I'm going 4-6 (3-3 in October games)

All in all I see Nov and half of Dec games as weak opponents or winnable.
Nov and Dec we make up some ground and play over .500 ball.

End of season seems strong though, imo.

If you really feel that way you should be those first 10 games. The Rockets will only be favorites in 1 and huge underdogs in at least half of them.

Eh, ESPN flexes their schedule IIRC for the 2nd half of the season, don't really care about that anyways.

First 10 games, 8 of them are against playoff teams. So very likely starting off something like 3-7 if being generous.

Historically this kind of season is one where we’d go .500 and miss the playoffs by a game.

I see their O/U at 34.5 Wins at one place and 22.5 Wins at the other.

Now I see 27.5 and 25.5. Maybe there's a lot of uncertainty about how good we'll be.

OK, it looks like it's 27.5 at most places. Hm,

    1) @ Min.......win
    2) OKC...........win
    3) Boston......loss
    4) Mavs.........loss
    5) Utah...........loss

    6) @ Lakers....win.....Westbrook lays an egg trying too hard to kill us. Halloween.
    Rockets play well on Halloween.

    7) @ Lakers.....loss (two days later, Lakers adjust and calm down)
    8) @ Suns........loss

    9) @ Nuggets...win....mile high goes in our favor as our young guns go full throttle and Jokic
can't keep up. No Jamal Murray who helped lead them to the playoffs. They let their guard down.

    10) @ Warriors...loss (B2B)

[4 wins-6 losses] just my humble opinion.

Early we shock some teams as Theis role is same as Capela and he transitions to new
team seamlessly. Ball handler calls for screen....he screens.
Cuts, slashes, pop outs off what defense shows. Theis role as Capela role is as simple
as simplistic can get. He has been in that role for years.

Now teams will adjust as the season goes on.....but in those first 10 games.....surprise.
surprise, Surprise!!! As one Gomer Pyle use to say. Surprise to the tune of 4-6. Other teams
fall victim of Rockets in Nov/Dec.

Yeah I’m seeing 27.5 mostly. Caesers has it at 25.5 when I looked earlier today.

I don’t know how betting works but if I put a 100 dollars that we win more than 28 games, any idea what I’d win?

Betting at Caesers Sportsbook the Rockets to win OVER 25.5 games is at -110 odds.

So you would have to bet $110 to win $100.
