Ok now what do we do?

Rockets have a huge money crunch coming up.

Ariza: Is another team going to offer him big money? Do we match?

Luc: Getting paid next to nothing. Same question

Capela: Obviously one of the key cogs of the Rockets this year. Do we match a potential max offer? Do we consider him replaceable, is his contribution mostly due to gimme passes from harden and CP3? Do we package him with Ryan Anderson to dump salary?

Ryno: Can someone break his shooting arm so we don't have to take a cap hit next year? How can we get rid of him? He's total trash and can't play against warriors ever. (These are more opinions then questions). Showcase him early next year and trade for other undesirables?

CP3: Do resign him for 35 mil? Aging, injury prone?

    Etc:

Can we keep Gerald Green, what about the other bench guys?

Lebron: Lol. What miracle gets him here? Dump every player then have CP3 take less? Is this really an impossibility?

Other free agents, big and small: Can we sign anyone since we will be over the cap? We busted real big with JJ and Brendan Wright this year (damn them to hell), will we be able to use exceptions etc to get the ring chasers next year?

    What's the overall plan:
    1) Resign everyone and go way over the cap - "Run it back": The rest of the league including the warriors will be improving while we stand pat if not regress slightly due to age and losing a few pieces, but is it good enough? I see up to 4 more contenders next year, Boston, San Antonio, whatever team Kwahi goes to and whatever team Lebron goes to.

    2) Do some wheeling and dealing and try to shed Ryan Anderson with another good player like Cap/Gordon etc? Are other roster changes even plausible. What plans are being hatched by Morey? Are we even able to make substantial moves.

    3) ?

    TRADE SUGGESTION:
Assuming this is not a LeBron deal breaker

    Tristan Thompson + KLove
    16/17/18 + 22/24/25

Ryan Anderson + Capela [Sign n Trade]
19/20/21 + Max [or similar to Klove Money]

Do you pull the trigger on this?

    of maybe

DeAndre + Beverly + Tobias Harris + Danilo Gallinari
    24 + 5 + 14 + 21/22

Ryan Anderson + Capela [Sign n Trade]
19/20/21 + Max [or similar to Danilo Money]

Assume we will lose Capela to a MAX CONTRACT anyway

    Or just to LeBron Hunt
    Capela + Anderson + Ego
    MAX + 19/20/21 + 12/13/14

    for

LEbron + Love + SALARY MATCHERS (Korver or JR SMith or Jordon Clarkson)
    MAX + 22/24/25 + 7/7

Mainly because Once LeBron leaves Cleveland is in start over mode
    Help them shed some salary

Rockets ran out of gas toward the end of 7, so bringing in old guys is not the answer and it's a pipe dream if anyone thinks LeBron will move again.
Young talent is the way to go for the long term success of this team.
