    Hey guys, what are your playoff standing predictions?

    Here's mine,

    Round 1: LA-Denver (1-8), SA-Portland (2-7), Hou-Dallas(3-6), Utah-New Orleans(4-5)

    Conference Semi: LA-Utah (1-4), SA-Hou (2-3)

    Conference Finals: LA-Hou

    I do agree with us being 3rd seed, I don't agree Dallas reaching 3rd at all. They are stuck at the 8th seed. They aren't better than any of the other 7 playoff teams in the West.

    However, I do agree that the Rockets will face the Spurs in the 2nd round too if we get out of the 1st round.

    This is still a little premature but I agree for the most part. Dallas though, as one mentioned, probably wont be moving from that 8th seed.

    Predictions? more like absolute best case scenario for the Rockets.

    I hope we get the 2 or 3 and play someone other than Utah in the first round. We have a tougher schedule than Utah and they are playing really well. So this game against SA might go along way in our chance to sustain the 3rd seed.

    I believe we'll get that 3 seed and beat whoever we face.

    But beating the Spurs...you need heart AND talent to beat them...do we have the heart?

    We have Yao who gives Duncan an extreme amount of problems, considering the fact that Duncan struggles against younger big men in the game .

    But Greg P is going to be smart enough to find strategies to defend Yao, no matter how well Yao plays then.

    Utah plays 10 games on the road against playoff teams.

    That's by no means easy for them.

    LA vs Dallas,
    San Antonio vs New Orleans,
    Houston vs Denver,
    Utah vs Portland

    LA vs Portland
    Houston vs San Antonio

    Portland vs San Antonio

    San Antonio vs Bobcats

    Let the Lakers take the 1 seed, and let Utah take the 4 or 5. 2,3,7 seed is looking good for us.

    Dallas is by no means stuck at the eighth seed. We're only up 2 games on them.
