I put the Rockets' 2001-02 schedule into an Excel spreadsheet that you can download and use to track the team's progress. http://www.makingpages.org/hoops/Rockets.2002.xls After each game, input the scores and whether the game went to overtime or not, and it calculates the average score, current and best/worst streak, record in OT, in conference, in blowouts, in back to backs, etc. It's formatted for my screen, but is easily fixed if font sizes, column widths, etc., aren't quite right for you. It even predicts our record for the year based on how we're doing so far. Right now it thinks we'll go 82-0! (I thought I posted this before the first game, but apparently, I didn't.... If this is a duplicate, my apologies.) Distributed as rocketware -- If you use it, cheer for the Rockets.
You gonna use this for the little Who won the game thing someone was doing in another thread? Seems like a good place for it.
Did you just want to make some excel macro? At least put some macro buttons on it to make it look snazzy.
Originally posted by TedRuxpin Feel free. If you want, I could write a quick macro to do a DELTREE /Y C: Seriously, I'll consider it one day, but it does all I want it to do now.
Hey Ricealum, cool deal. Speaking of Rice, my application went in the mail today and I already have my fingers crossed. I would really like to go there.

I use asterisks personally: one for OT, two for double OT, etc. Originally posted by Stevierebel Early admission, eh? Good luck. But stay away from them Lovett boys, they're bad news! Baker is the way to go!
