just saw Scola at the Starbucks on Broadway here in Pearland. I know a lot of Rockets players (dare I say most?) live in the Pearland area so I am actually kind of surprised I have not seen more around. I don't like to annoy celebrities so I just said hi and did not bother him beyond that, it is funny because a lot of people were just staring at him not sure who he is LOL! The fact that he is really tall in person might have peaked their curiosity though. I guess they are already back in town from Orlando.
why isn't he in New Jersey? Are the Rockets coming here for couple days and fly back to the east coast. Wow that is exhausting.
If I would have made something up, I would say I met McGrady or Yao and had lunch with them, not a non-celebrity like Scola whom have of the city has no idea who the heck he is LOL But yeah it looks like they are in town. He was wearing long shorts and a freakin' t-shirt, which is funny since it is getting quite cold out here.
All the good ones live in Sugar Land because Sugar Land > Pearland.... at least in terms of rich and luxury.

I lived in Sugar Creek back in the day when it was a "going concern". I guess it no longer is? I know we had football biggies living there. I have often wondered where the Rockets live in regards to logistics. ie off the plane onto team bus? then dropped off where? then drive themselves home? Really, once off the plane how do they get (safely) home?
I assume most of them do drive home after, I dont know where the team bus takes them but I guess it is a uniform location back to TC?? Who knows... I do know that Tmac has a driver lol beacuse I have seen his driver with my own eyes, I really doubt the rest of the guys roll like that im pretty sure most just drive back home like normal.
cool my dad lives in pearland and every summer i come out there and look for celebs but i can never find them...where do they usually hide???
