Saw Mutombo at Churrasco's on Sheperd and Westheimer the other day eating by himself. He asked for a pic with me so I complied. He's a really nice dude in real life and apparently lots of Rockets eat at that Churrasco's. He told me I was short (i'm 6ft tall) so i'm assuming that Yao is the only asian dude he really knows. (last sentence is a joke) peace.
no! of course I asked him for the picture. why would a millionaire nba star ask an ugly, yet tall (i'm 6ft 2in) ch*nk for a picture. hahaha. The waiter said that he goes there often and when the big man was finished with his dinner the I told waiter to ask for me. He, like I said was really nice. I let him know that I really respect him for what he does off the bball court in addition to his basketball career.
that's cool as man. Mutombo just hanging out by himself - I wouldve been scared to approach him...leaves most people feeling REJECTED.
