Well it looks like the shaq daddys are going to take this league.

As much as I hate to say it,it seems I'll have to settle for 2nd for the 3rd year in a row.Dammit, but it's been fun.

Shaq has come back playing well and I have been crippled with injuries.Payton,Webber,Ratliff,Kobe I'm just waiting to see who is next.

I'm not giving up hope but I'm afraid if shaq stays healthy the rest of the way then the rest of us are toast.

I would have to disagree with you on your statement. You and I are both currently at 44.4 FP/G as a team. You are in second place because you have played more games than me which gives me room to improve on my current team FP/G and rise above you. Everyone on my team has been putting up very good numbers the last couple of weeks and I don't see them slowing down unless the injury bug hits. The only position I am behind in is at the Center spot because Jackson has been out lately. While I don't think I will win the league, I do think I will end the season in second place.

The only reason my fp/g have slipped down is because of the injurys. You say the only reason I'm ahead is because I have played more games.Big difference of opinion here.

The way it is,is that I'm right on target to get my 82 starts out of each starter while you will be forced to play some of your flex guys in starter spots to make up ground.Kobe and Webber will both be back to their old selves soon and I will be able to coast on through the season while you will be struggling to get all of your starts in.I'm not sure how many starts down you are or at what position but there is only about 24 games left.So ya better get busy and no crying about less starts because thats a BIG part of managing your team.

    Anyway good luck to ya.

You got it on the money DARO. No way counting can overcome you if you not get plagued with injuries. He is behind in games and need to put lesser players in to make up and they will have to perform to the limit to give you any chance to get in 2nd. I have more faith in your fgp going down crow, and I guess in the end there will be around 0.5 fpg difference between you and DARO.

I'm at the moment in 5th with my average climbing, and while Alan (PandaByte) has a better average than me in 6th I've have been closing on him rapidly so I expect to keep 5th all the way in. A few weeks ago the fpg differnce was over 1.0 fpg and its now half of that. I predict that it won't even be close in the end [IMG] +0.5 to me atleast. I've been making up ground on #4 also but there the differnce is to much so I will have to settle for 5th. But I've been closing on all from #2 and down so with Phantom (#4) even losing his fpg I expect it to be a whole lot closer in the end. Damn why do we not have 40 more games. [IMG]

The only position I am behind in is the Center spot. It will be close, but only time will tell the story.

Here are my 'games played' from each position:

    C-48
    PF-57
    SF-58
    SG-56
    PG-58
    Flex-159

My only trouble spot is my center position. I was hampered earlier in the season when Dampier was my center and he went down. Jackson has been down lately so I picked up Brad Miller and between these two I can close the gap on the center spot adequately. McDyess has 24 games left to play and that is only 1 less than what I currently need out of my PF spot. Odom has 23 games left and that is only 1 less that what I currently need out of my SF spot. Stackhouse has 26 games left and that is right on cue with my SG spot. Van Exel has 24 games left and that also is right on cue with my PG spot. I currently need 87 more games out of my flex positions while Duncan-Camby-Smith only have 80 games left combined. I have some pretty good bench/flex players who can give me some good #'s with those last 7 games.

    Good Luck!

    Good luck, countingcrow.

How many games are you back at center? I remember I got a few games back, and got myself 3 centers to get back on track. The only problem was - it wasn't that easy - they all insisted on playing games on the same day. I think I had 3 centers for 2 weeks and only got 2 extra games out of them. [IMG] And you currently got your 2nd center injured. You gotta hope when he gets back that you dont have the same problems as me making games up.

    Good luck.
