What is bugging me about the Rockets org. is that there nothing there that symbolizes we are NBA championship city. There is no Dream, Glide, Rudy T., or any other player from the championship team hanging out at games (Bullard doesn’t count). Heck there is not even Calvin Murphy behind the mic who was there during our run. There is more Comets personal at Rockets games these days. The only thing there to remind us is the 2 banners that hang from the ceiling. But with the Rockets play these days there is little reason to be looking up. I just would like to see some championship nostalgia at the games some key member from the Rockets championship team calling the games instead of WNBA personal or even better on the coaches bench to be there as leader and reminder that we are a serious about our basketball here in Houston. Mario Elie name comes to mind. His presence is a reminder of championship glory days. Also, Drexler in the front office as some basketball consultant but instead he is in Denver rebuilding that team. Couldn’t we use a man like Drexler in our org? We need some Rocket Pride back in the team and that what it takes to win.
What do you expect when the head coach and his number one assistant were significant pieces of the losing side?
Gottah give JVG's so called "system" every chance to succeed. so far i'm way underwhelmed with the knickerfied rockets. but thats jes' me. GO ROCKETS!
