    Muchachos and Muchachas,

    I have a question.

I am about to get Direct TV. Here in NYC market, I can get two local services in two different cities.

My question is this. If I get local service with Houston local channels, I only get ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC. Now, do the Rocket games appear locally on any of these channels? What about Fox Sportsnet South? Do I need to get the league pass just to watch Rocket games?

    Gracias.

Yes, you must get League Pass. It's well worth it. The only other Rocket games you could see would be on TNT/TBS, or WGN, which would leave you missing probably 80 games. League Pass rules!

Freak is right. Locally, they appear on the Fox Sports regional network and on Channel 55 - an independant local station.

The Fox regional sports programming is blacked out everywhere except in the local team's city and you can't get channel 55 on a satellite.

NBA League Pass is your only option.
