So, I bought RockBand today and bought a couple of tunes from the SP3 website, but can't figure out how to choose what I want to play or even see if the songs I downloaded are even on my PS3. I'm probably missiong something very basic, but it is only giving me the option to play from a list of about 10 songs. Any help would be appreciated.
After you buy the songs, you still have to actually "download" them. Have you done this? Also, to play any of the songs, I think you have to go to quickplay or play now. If you go into a solo or band tour, I don't know that you will have all the songs available immediately.
I'm in the same boat. I was going to wait until the second one came out, but thats in Oct. As for the downloads, after you download them go to the game submenu on the PS3 media bar and they will be there. Select them and they install in a couple of seconds. When you start the game up, you will be able to play them easily, even in career mode. You actually earn more money for those than the ones that come with the game.
maybe i'm missing something in your question, but in order to get access to ALL the songs in the game you have to do career mode on any instrument and start unlocking them. you only start off with like five plus whatever you downloaded, you have to earn the rest... if you're just talking about songs you've downloaded then i apologize...
