...and commits to Texas today. He's a 4-star linebacker recruit from Klein. Rivals lists him as the #8 LB in the nation. Read his comments from Inside Texas: "To tell you the truth, OU's academic program doesn't even compare, . . If you want to go to a college, then you're not going to school at Oklahoma. Guess that might be giving some of those guys some ammunition for the Cotton Bowl, but I'm keepin' it real. Don't get me wrong, OU has a pretty good school, but it's not the same. OU's second-tier and I have said all along that education was the most important thing in the decision-making process." --Killebrew Also, after decommiting from A&M, WR Tyrell Gatewood has committed to Texas. Another 4-star for Mack, Gatewood's the #17 WR in the nation. Good stuff, but I'm still waiting for DE Jarvis Moss and OT Ofa Mohetau to complete this class. Hook Em.
Uh oh, UT's movin' up to the top of the recruiting BCS again.... BTW, Alonzo Dotson will sure look good in Crimson next year. Guess that might be giving some of those guys some ammunition for the Cotton Bowl, but I'm keepin' it real. I don't think OU needs any ammunition, or at least they haven't the past 3 years. But good try
Now one of those 4 stars will be on his back! Not to worry, I saw him a couple of times this season and that is just the way he is. He speaks what is on his mind, and also seemed to talk a bit of trash on the field. Plays middle LB, is not quite as big as DJ, but is a speedy guy who hits hard (that is my personal scouting report). Glad to have him, the Gatewood snag is good as well. I am really looking forward to seeing what Limas Sweed can do. I have heard some really good things about him.
Give me a call back when the state of Oklahoma can be proud of something besides their college football teams.
One of many things is only a team that went to the final four last year. When's the last time a team from your oh so great state went there?
And they walked away with the championship didn't they? No, okay try again. How many professional sports championships does the state of Oklahoma have? Oh wait, they don't put nba, nhl, or nfl teams in states like Oklahoma. I mean come on, even milwaukee and green bay were good enough to get professional sports franchises. I don't limit my abuse to the university of oklahoma, I think your entire state sucks.
I find the whole thing hilarious. I like this guy already. This team is way too nice for its own good. A intense LB who can play and talk trash might be just what this team needs. A little attitude always helps in football.
On the OU- UT subject: I guess UT is better, OU doesn't have as many paper championships On Oklahoma: Good job buddy! I'm glad you noticed the size of the state! And you still didn't answer my question. Couldn't remember that far back, could you?
Limas Sweed is the WR from Brenham, right? If so, my cousin played on that team, and said he was awesome. He is a bit biased of course, but the size that Limas has in awesome. Totally within the context of those tall but speedy recievers that everyone seems to be going to, like roy, charles rogers, etc. Not necessarily in the same class, of course, but from what my cousin said, and just seeing him in that championship game, he looks for real.
Sadly, these images you see are not photoshopped. These individuals are affliated with the University of Oklahoma.
The guy in the first picture is actually the 5th Beatle. John, Ringo, George, Paul, and Gordon Quan - Houston City Councilmember
