Clutchfans, My family and I were robbed at gunpoint and held hostage for about an hour last night in my home, shortly after I came home from work. They took all laptops, phones, money, wallets, ps3 etc. but did not kill us, and for that I feel highly blessed and favored. Please shoot a prayer for a fellow clutchfan. And if you're around the pearland area and see two black guys (one in red, one in a black shirt) together please let me know or call authorities with a tip. Thank you. Moe
Faith is on your side my brother... How did they managed to get in, not that it matters, but this is quite a concern....
damn, that's scary. did you walk in on them or did they force their way in while your family was there? my g/f is always afraid when she's alone and i tell her not to worry. but when i hear stories like this, i guess her fear is warranted.
oh man, that is horrible. i'm sorry that happened to you, and i'm doubly sorry you had your family in that situation. at the risk of being somewhat insensitive and disrespectful, i've got a couple of questions. what exactly took an hour? did you at any point have a plan, or a compulsion to do something? how do you feel now about gun rights?
Sorry to hear that. Material things can be replaced. All of a sudden, I feel much better about living in Katy.
I'm sorry to hear that. I'm glad no one was hurt. (But, with that kind of description of the perps, I don't think anyone will be breaking the case any time soon.)
Held hostage for an hour in your own home??? Holy crap man. That sounds scary as heck. I feel very bad for you. Do you have kids that were in this situation???? I will pray for you no doubt. What is the world coming to. Get a alarm system in your home, even if you never need to use it again, I'm sure it will give your wife peace of mind. Damn. I feel so bad for you guys. God Bless.
Same thing happened to a friend of mine last week in her home in west houston. The guy came thru a window during the middle of the day. Jumped out and grabbed her from a room as she walked down the hall. Had a gun to her head, made her lead him around the house and show him where all valuables/money was, and then he got some jewelry and a little bit of cash, put it in a back and went out the back door jumped the fence and was gone. THE POLICE DID NOTHING. They took a report and that was it.
Wow, I'm so sorry to hear that. Fortunately you survived unharmed. I know you may not want to relive it, but I'm also curious how it happened. Maybe we can all learn something from it. My wife also has concerns about this from time to time. And it's true those material things can be replaced, but feeling safe and comfortable at home and moving on may not be replaced so quickly.
Glad to hear you're ok. What part of Pearland are you in? I might send you a PM...I live there too. Have you tried contacting the local news/chronicle? Usually they will come to you after seeing a police report but they could've missed it. It might help to get the story out so the guys get caught.
Glad you and your family are unharmed! What a scary situation. I hope that they find the nasty buggers who did it.
wow crazy. I would send your kids to counseling. Glad you are ok. Is it a bad part of Pearland (is there)- I remember Pearland not being bad. Did they follow someone home? Just randomly pick you? Curious how that went down. Hope you recover quickly from this.
