Rob Reiners tragic passing is a reminder of how much we need ICE

For those not in the know, Reiner was the director of a string of hits in the 80s including my favorite Stand by Me, this is Spinal Tap, The Princess Bride, When harry Met Sally and A few Good men. These films were centered around themes of morality, common sense and humor that Reiner was able to tap into with ease.

However, it was Jack Nicholson's character in A Few Good Men - Colonel Jessup , that Reiner was most fond of. And several iconic lines stood out, including him screaming out in court... "You want the truth... you can't handle the truth!" about the necessity of armed guards at the border and the need to enforce laws.

"Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You?"

Nope, it's the brave men and women of ICE. The brave men and women of the Armed forces.

• "You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall. You need me on that wall." .
• "We use words like 'honor,' 'code,' 'loyalty.' We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline."

It emphasized duty, honor, and the necessity of harsh realities for freedom that new age liberals like @Amiga and @Rashmon take for granted, contrasting it with the superficiality of liberals pretending they aren't needed.

The liberals of the past, like Obama, Reiner and Clinton all knew this. Border security is paramount to a functioning nation. Americans should be celebrating ICE instead of doxing and threatening them. Unfortunately, due to the disease of progressive liberalism, they openly pretend like border laws shouldn't exist in America. Every other country can have them, but we naively pretend to go about our business without them. It's an elite, unhinged mentality that sacrifices the lives and safety of Americans for a feeling of virtuousness.

So in honor of Rob and the talent he brought to this world, let's give our full support to ICE and stop making life difficult for them. The hypocrisy of liberals is on full display every time they make life uncomfortable for those... making life comfortable for them.
