I just found out I will be staying in a hotel about 5 miles away from the Cotton Bowl.

Just seeing if there is a chance we could meet. (although if my friends do the driving, those chances are slim.)

Probably around 5 miles. :) I'm in Highland Park, just north of downtown.

I think Drewdog and Major are coming up. Got an extra ticket? :)

    FYI

I am three blocks from the Cotton Bowl. I don't have tickets to the game, but I will open my window so I can hear the crowd when I watch it on TV this Saturday.

That is affirmative. I am going to try and set up an interview or two in Dallas, and that chick from Amarillo is coming down to see her sister, so whatever whatever......

Where are we watching the game?

I was thinking the Humperdinks over on Greenville...it's a Texas' Exes place.

Lemme know when you come into town.

Highland Park my ass...... Rocketman lives in a southside Dallas ghetto similar to the 4th ward.

    :D

Im kidding. Technically you live in the Knox/Henderson area which is still a VERY swank part of town.

Cool. Yeah my buddy Rob that lives up there was saying that place has a lot of hottie waitresses so that is a nice choice. I may have a straggler or two with me, but probably not the girl.

I'll be up there there next weekend, but I'm gonna let my wife drag me around and eat corn dogs and funnel cakes.

I have to admit, after a few beers, those rides that are held together with spitballs and bubblegum can be kind of fun.

This is true. Especially when you stick around to see the look on the people's faces who just sat in your puke.

I have a class tonight in Arlington, so I can't. But otherwise, I would.

One thing is for damn sure:

    You will get lost.

The layout of the highways is pretty confusing......
