http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26788143/ I wonder how many recipes change that the consumers never find out about.
I haven't bought candy in years and only have some during the holidays... How crappy is it to cheapen your product...
The only Hershey's I like is the milk chocolate bar with almonds. Mmm. I indulge on special days. Unfortunately the next special day for me isn't slated until the power comes back on, which at this point might not be for months...
My brother is going to be pissed, he loves Mr. Goodbar and he likes pointing out that they use the original recipe as in sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. But I read about this a while back, that the chocolate makers were lobbying for the standards to be changed so that they're fake chocolate crap could still be called "milk chocolate." I'm no aficionado, but if you want real chocolate, you could buy stuff like Cadbury, Ghirardelli, Dove, and Lindt at Wal-Mart, Walgreens, and CVS.
Grabbed a mini-box of Milk Duds from someone at the office. 'Made with Chocolate and Caramel' but the back has 'Contains Milk and Soy Ingredients' So, under FDA rules it contains chocolate and milk.... but not Milk Chocolate?
Damn...your brother has good taste. I read this article and was swearing up and down about how they had defiled my favorite candy, Mr. Goodbar.
