So I read at one point that she had a problem during some throat surgery for her voice. Was that completely inaccurate? Also this marks a second comedian to die that has been on Louie. I hope the third isn't Charles Grodin.

Very sad. She was definitely one opinionated and funny TV persona. It seemed like she was going to pull through there for a bit...but I guess that was wishful thinking.
She was way more lively and youthful than anyone else on that fashion show on E. I can only hope to have that energy (or still be alive) at 81.
RIP Always loved watching her on TV, the whole I don't give a crap attitude was great to see these when everyone else is trying to be so politically correct.
Before E! Joan Rivers was a trailblazing female comic. Robin Williams and now Joan Rivers. This is a truly sad year for our comedic stalwarts.
