I would like to see Rip as the backup SG/SF for Houston. He is old yes, but he can still run a defender ragged around all those screens. He takes care of himself and would be a good shooter for our second team.
On a team that struggled to score, and with Rip known for his mid range shooting, and basically doing nothing to help the team, what makes you think he can do anything on the Rockets?
dude is like 150 y/o in NBA years and needs to get rid of the stupid mask "come on home" (c) NBA on TNT crew! lol Pass...
If he takes the minimum you jump on it. If he takes or other 2 mil spot you wait and see. But might be the best we can do. Anyway a good option to consider.
Would love Rip Hamilton as a back-up SG to Harden, he's a shooter who can create his own shot... Exactly what we need. Moreover, his experience is good for our young guards, similar to what Garcia brought to the table.
Man he was my fav player outside of Houston back in the day. Dude ran circles around defenders. Too bad he old now doe. Would not touch.
Loved Rip when he played for Detroit. He is old now but a veteran, championship presence on a player level isn't a bad option
He is a scorer (or at least was). As a (has-been) scorer he could not get playing time on a Bulls team that desperately needed scoring.
I rather have Tmac as the Vet Min back up SG.... On a side note, is Michael Redd available for the vet min?
