I never read his stuff, but I'm well aware of the Wheel of Time following. One of these days I'll probably check it out. Did he finish that series? That would suck if he didn't (besides his passing of course).

On several articles I've read it has stated that he planned for the worse on his last book and left completed notes and outlines for the final book of the series. It was his wish that it be completed, but the final approval is between his wife and the President of Tor fantasy publishing.

I suspect that either his wife will finish it (as he had earlier suggested she was helping him write the final book anyway) or another author will be commisioned to complete the work and we will see it in a year or two.

That's good news. I'm actually relieved that they chose a professional writer to finish it. He has tons of notes and audio to pull from to complete the story. I expect it to be pretty seamless.

Maybe he'll actually be able to edit himself down more than Jordan could in the last couple books.
