I have a small WAV file that I want to make into a polyphonic ringtone for my phone...does anyone know how to do this (or can someone do it for me ;) )?

Here's a link to the WAV:LINK (right click and SAVE AS)

    thanks in advance...

I think you can go to matrixm.com and convert it. You may have to sign up for an account though.

A polyphonic ringtone is just a MIDI. If you get a program somewhere (maybe just a free trial) you can convert the WAV to an MIDI. The problem is, MIDIs (and all polyphonic ringtone types) aren't using unlimitied sounds and channels. Most things you can do a conversion with will allow you to convert the WAV into only one instrument. That leads to a horrible sounding MIDI and thusly ringtone. My advice is to just try and find whatever it is in MIDI format, because no matter what you do it's gonna sound horrible on your phone.

    3gupload.com is awesome

It aint free, but for $10 a year, you can upload, download unlimited ringtones. I even uploaded a cut of my own MP3s, upload it to their site and download it to my phone. So, it aint free, but making my own ringtones for $10/yr plus the $3 I pay for my T-Zones is worth it to me. :)

Quit mooching and pay the $5. If it were >$20, I'd see your point.
