    So, what do the DMB fanatics think of Grave Digger? The song sounded like it would have fit on Everyday.

    Have you guys heard any other songs from the album, ie, has anything leaked?

    BTW, my thread title came out wrong. I just thought that was a real neat lyric for that song. Especially if you know about the black plague and what not.

    i heard Gravedigger on VH-1 for the first time over the weekend...it definitely does not sound like DMB to me at all..but I liked it...and I've pre-ordered the cd.

    the gravedigger theme is quite common in Dave's lyrics...the idea that we're all going to die...that we should appreciate the here and now because we never know when it will end...some might find that to be pretty bleak, but I find it pretty optimistic, actually. i'm weird that way.

    I must admit I'm not too excited about it. The reason I like DMB so much is that they are greater than the sum of their parts. The five of them are the perfect lineup. Even though Dave is the songwriter for the band, I just can't see it having that DMB sound for obvious reasons. I may *sample* it, but...eh.

    Besides....no Carter Beauford! I mean, come on!! :D

    I've heard various clips from the DMB website. I think it's going to be a great CD. I can't get too pumped about it because it's not a full band effort, but I'm still pretty damned excited about it. Stay or Leave, which I heard in Boone during the Dave/Tim show, is a great song.
