I just realized that Mason is on the last year of his contract, and that means that Miami could make a serious run at Webber next year... If Mason resigns for less that could leave the Heat with a line-up of: Mourning Webber Mason Jones Carter/Hardaway That´s a scary team that would win the East for sure. So much for Hill and McGrady in Orlando, huh? I´m not sure about Miami´s cap situation after the trade, though. I don't have the figures, but with Jones on the max and Mourning on his massive contract, there's no way the Heat have enough money to go chasing after Webber. I think they'll win the East this year anyway; with Mourning Gatling Mason Jones Hardaway they have an all star at every position.. not bad... and only Hardaway is DEFINITELY past his prime... ------------------
