Rockets should trade their 2nd round + a future #1 to acquire him... He'll probably be a mid to late 1st rounder. He would provide the Rockets with their smartest player, as well as being a great shooter, and a good PG. He also is pretty quick, for a white guy. My only drawback to Ridnour is that his defense is really lacking, and will be a problem in the NBA. Ridnour will be the steal of this draft.
I'm definitely a fan or Ridnour and wouldn't mind trying to pick him up in the late first round. Then again, I also said that about Dan Dickau, but he hasn't exactly torn them up over in Atlanta.
I think before pick up Ridnour(if given the occasion) we should take a good long look at Boris Diaw. Ridnour is maybe a leader but Diaw is a better all around player! ALA
I think Ridnour will ge a decent NBA player. Great shooter, great floor vision, and competitor--I'd certainly be happy if we got him. That said, if we go with the Francis as a 2 experiment we need a bigger 1. Marcus Moore and Reece Gaines should be cheaper to acquire and more fit that bill.
The Moore I saw was phenomenal as well. I think the fact his team was so bad and that he played so often hurt with leg injuries are most responsible for his questionmarks and criticisms honestly. But this guy has great potential--and PG instincts--with an SG's stroke and size.
