    Make it happen Riley!!

The Timberwolves continue to push him toward the N.B.A. as soon as possible, contending privately that they have a commitment from him for next season. But Rubio’s camp does not appear to be convinced. “The bottom line is, why would he want to play in Minnesota?” a senior member of Rubio’s camp said this month. “He’ll continue to say all the diplomatic things, and Minnesota needs to keep his value up for trade purposes, but the family’s preference is to be on the East Coast, specifically New York, Miami or Boston. He wouldn’t be troubled if he has to stay another year.”

Boy, his family has a tight leash on him. I guarantee Ricky could care less where he goes as long as he gets to play in the NBA but he's got his whole "camp" telling him what to do. They want to make him a superstar and it'll be easier to do that in those cities obviously.

That story was about how much he's struggling the past few years.. I think that's more note-worthy than him liking the east coast?

Compared to T-Wolves and being Minnesota, " . . . can we really blame him."

Why did Kahn draft him in the first place, especially when they drafted three point guards in the first round?

You're probably right as long as Rubio doesn't mind being a set shot three point shooter and he knocks those down at a 40% clip and also if he doesn't mind not actually being a point guard seeing as how Lebron and Wade tend to have the ball in their hands 90% of the time making all the decisions for the Heat.

Come to think of it, Miami already has THAT Ricky Rubio on their team.....His name is Carlos Arroyo

Rubio in Miami would be such a waste of talent. He'd be delegated to a spot up shooter.

Unless he can play great defense and keep opposing PGs out of the paint, Rubio definitely isn't the kind of PG the Heat need. The two big strikes against him is he needs the ball in his hands to be effective and he cannot hit open jumpers consistently.

Why in the world would Boston want him? Rondo is already better than Rubio could ever dream of being. Anything Rubio can do Rondo can do better.

Rubio might fit the Knicks, although D'Antoni's offense functions much better when the PG is a good scorer.

Rubio needs to play on a team with gifted, off-the-ball scorers to compensate for his poor shooting skills and take advantage of his passing.

The fact that this kid's family thinks they can hold an NBA franchise hostage without ever even having played a second in the league tells me all I need to know about them. If he shares his family's attitude, and doesn't want to play for Minnesota, then he should just stay in Europe. You've gotta be tough if you want to play in the NBA, and if he can't handle playing in Minnesota, then he shouldn't be in the league.

I don't particularly care for how Rubio and probably more correctly, his camp, is handling his possible move to the NBA, but I guess it's the smart way to do it. He doesn't want to go to Minnesota so he'll wait it out in Spain until he can find his way to a team he wants to go to.

His worst case scenario is he spends a few more years in Spain before coming to the NBA. In that case, he'll just end up getting more seasoning and improving his game to get him more NBA-ready.

He sure is a prima donna for not proving **** in the NBA. I'm really sure he doesn't wanna play in Minnesota because his panties will get cold...what a load of crap. If these guys would just man up and take the hand that was dealt then there wouldn't be these preconceived notions that a team is never gonna amount to anything. Look what Blake Griffin is doing for the Clippers, I have respect for a guy that can go out and play his heart out even if it isn't the perfect situation for him.

Who the f does the little brat think he is? If San Antonio can hold on to Scola for at least five years, then let Minnesota do the same thing. Kid hasn't proven ****, especially with how he's been playing in Spain.

A brat who's making good money in Spain hanging out on beaches with beautiful women.

Why would he trade that for Minnesota?

Danny Ferry, Steve Francis.....lots of players refuse to play with who drafted them.

He has options, he should do whatever the hell he wants.

Let him go to Miami or Boston so he'll be nothing more than either a spot up shooter or someone to ride the bench. Take your pick kid.
