His FG attempts are like the 4th highest in the team... Pure PG my ass. He needs to look to pass more because he has often ignored alot of teammates not named tmac or yao.

Yeah, If rafer shoot or break through less, He would be a better Pg.Also for AB, some times AB needs to learn how to pass the ball to you Center, after he breaks through the defense. It makes score easier. Now ,in Rockets,Only TMAC can do it. but Tracy seldom does it

He needs to limit the time he has the ball in his hands. He's dribbling way too much for this team.

He needs to limits Rafer's minutes down the stretch unless he is playing great that game.

Bingo! Part of the problem is the other teams like the ball in Rafer's hands and they do everything possible to keep it there. Adelman still hasn't figured this out. To him, Rafer is like a worn out, moth-eaten blanket that needs to be replaced but Adelman is a creature of loyalty & habit and is incredibly slow to make changes.

We just need to eliminate Alston from the team. He's the PG on the floor and he controls if he wants to shoot or not.

I have been saying this since Rafer came here. I would give him five a game and fine him ten thousand dollars for every attempt over that quota. ;) If you shoot a low career percentage, you shouldn't shoot alot of shots, duh.

To be perfectly fair its not like Alston would hates to dish out assists. As people stated Alston is a pure PPG, in the sense that he likes to pass almost as much as he likes to shoot. The problem is that the cardinal rule in Bball is shoot when wide open, and guess who's ALWAYS wide open? :p That's how you end up with Alston getting the 4rth highest shot attempts after the Big 3.

The fact is, we are only going to be as strong as our weakest link. As long as Alston is on the court opposing teams will always do everything possible to make him take the shot. You can't give Alston a shot quota and expect him to stick to it because what happens when he's left open on the perimeter and the other players are blocking the passing lanes?

Rafer has to go or be benched in crunch time if he isn't on his hot streak.

Definitely need to limit his shot attempts.Damn,he ran the offense and touched the ball every minutes he was on the floor but couldn't even hit the free throws.

What was he thinking?Quick release at the line and missed 2 FTS.Okay.he's skip to my BRICK not Skip to my lou.

Just damn.I couldn't stand him any more.just pure sick of his shots recently.

Exactly, he is wide open more than any other player because other teams are well coached, they know he can't shoot, so they force him to shoot. I was kidding about the quota, though I like the idea. If were the owner of this team Rafer would be soooo gone.

imagine if the rockets had j terry instead of rafer, all those 3s that mr. brickston takes will be ones made by the JET.

He takes good shots. He doesn't shoot, the defense when by default. A personnel move is the only option. Not restricting his shots. Even saying that would crush his confidence and all hope would be lost.

I am not a big Adelman fan but thank God you guys don't coach.

    adelman loves rafer apparently.

unlike JVG, who just limited rafer to shooting open jumpshots, adelman wants rafer to make plays.

i'm like are you serious rick?

Rafer is what he is...a poor excuse for a point guard. I hate it when he calls plays for himself. His teardrop brick his chipping the paint off of the rim.

A starting PG has to shoot. He has to draw defense by shooting the ball.

Rafer's only place is on bench.
