It's interesting how their marriage is falling apart just as he's leaving LA and thinking about retiring. Maybe he finally saw one of her movies. Or maybe she wanted a husband who is still good at basketball.

Although as a Celtic fan, it'd be interesting to see Payton, Fox, Pierce, etc. They'd still suck but at least they'd have some decent names on their roster for the first time in forever.

LOS ANGELES -- Former Los Angeles Laker Rick Fox, who was traded to the Boston Celtics last week, is divorcing his actress-wife Vanessa Williams.

The red-carpet marriage of Vanessa Williams and Rick Fox apparently has dissolved.

"Entertainment Tonight" reported the story Tuesday.

Fox filed to end the couple's five-year marriage, which produced 4-year-old daughter Sasha.

"They are both extremely devoted parents, so the most important thing to them right now is the welfare of their child," Fox spokeswoman Staci Wolfe said. "They are committed to working out what's best for her."

Fox and Lakers point guard Gary Payton were traded Friday to Boston for Chris Mihm, Chucky Atkins and Marcus Banks. The Celtics also received a conditional first-round draft pick and cash in the deal and sent a second-round pick to the Lakers.

It remains to be seen whether Fox will join Boston, with whom he spent the first six seasons of his career. The 35-year-old guard/forward reportedly is contemplating retirement after 13 NBA seasons.

and I hear the players want him out of the league because when he's playing he leaves jerry curl juice droppings all over the court making the court slippery.

Why is it that every black guy with curly hair has to have a jerry curl? My hair is curly and I don't use chemicals.

"Jeri curls" went out with Miami Vice, chic jeans and the electric bugaloo. Please consider this as not to sound foolish.

A few hours I could see, but anything longer... no thanks. I don't think I could stand talking to a woman who thought Rick Fox was a suitable companion.

It boggles my mind that people can say, "the most important thing to them right now is the welfare of their child". That's not true. The most important thing to them is divorcing and separating. The kids' welfare comes in second to that.

If they are unhappy and their unhappiness afects the kids, he is doing the right thing.

Hahahaha, it wouldn't surprise me if it was! Remember the part when they were sitting on the couch and they all stood up and there was a wet spot where each of them had their heads leaning against the couch? That was the best.

Now maybe it's time for Rick to go back to his acting career on Oz.

    ELECTRIC BUGALOO WILL NEVER DIE!

As a matter of fact, I'm going to go do some poppin' and lockin' right now!

..by myself, in my apartment, as I sob uncontrollably while doing a funky fresh robot. :(
