I've always wondered why Rick Fox hasn't played for team Canada since 1994. Now I think I know. Fox was born in Canada but has never really called it home. He moved to the Bahamas at a young age and never played basketball until he was 12. He and some friends were just walkin around town, went into a hotel and saw Michael Jordan and the tar-heels win the championship, that game (the first that Rick saw) left an impression on him. Then a church group from indiana went to the bahamas and put on some basketball camps. Rick later asked his parents to go attend more B-ball camps in the USA. He then moved to indiana to play high-school basketball. Then he went on to North Carolina and on to the NBA. So I guess he doesn't really feel Canadian at all, and though i would love him to play for Canada, I understand why he wouldn't care too, since it isn't really his home.
