An over 30 former Knick of course, do you really need to ask? http://www.nba.com/playerfile/rick_brunson/index.html?nav=page
He has played decent the last cople seasons with Seattle when they had injury problems. Not sure how effective he can be for us, guess we'll have to see how JVG plans on using him.
He played well for the Clippers last year. He's a pass first point guard doesn't shoot all that well from what i saw last year but definitly runs the offense.
yeah that's what i think he will definitly be good for...he averaged only about 25 minutes a game as a backup PG and still managed to get 5 assists a game. If it saves Alston some energy for later in games then im all for it and i don't think it's a bad signing at all.
Wow! A career 36% FG shooter, going a few seasons shooting as low as 26% for an entire season (multiple times). Out of possibilities such as Penny, Spree, Thomas, JJax, among others, we get this gucking fuy? Well, an upgrade over Barry, I see.
Will someone please kidnap JVG and drop him off in 5th ward? I would do it but I am in Chicago and the Rockets don't play the Bulls anymore this year. This guy has just gone mad. He doesn't make any sense at all.
He is an upgrade in the sense he will run the offense and spell Alston a bit and he isn't going to be looking for a shot and should get the rest of the team involved. Like i said before from watching him play last year he definitly is not a shooter but is very capable at the point guard position and runs the offense well and plays good defense.
