Both have been good coaches. If the Rockets replace JVG, who do yall think will be a better coach for the Rockets, Carlisle or Adelman? Or someone else?

Carlisle is a clone of JVG.

I'd be happy with either, but I think all these "new coach" threads should be merged, Mario elie needs consideration as well

i had some good points on why Carlisle would be a better choice than Adelman in another thread but Almu or Amel or whatever his name is thinks is the craziest idea he's ever seen/heard. Apparently, he sleep walked through the past 4 years when Van Gundy decided to show the Rockets how offense should be run.

Carlisle is defensively, but he doesn't have the command of his players the way Jeff does.

Pass on these two. They have had their chances with good teams and didn't get it done. I rather go with someone new Mario Elie should be the coach.

Out of the 3 coach, Jeff is still the best.

Larry Brown He can lead a team to the finals and even led AI in the east to the finals with no real 2nd option. He's a greater coach than Assistant coach that's for sure and he knows how to win while calling more than 4 plays all year.

Can I get some proof? I want to compare your notes with mine. I already have down for Van Gundy:

Took 8th-seeded team to the Finals

    What else do you have?

I will bet you that Adelman can bring us out of first round in his first year coaching here. Also, this team will become fun to watch.

The Rockets should absolutely pursue him. He may be a douche in some respects but if he brings winning back to the Rockets, it will be worth it.
