Richmond St. between 610 and Hillcroft was the spot back in the day when the Rockets were winning championship 93 - 95. There was no shortage of beautiful women during that time. Dates were inexpensive and plentiful.

I just loved the city atmosphere and the fact that big time Rockets like Vernon, Mario, Kenny, and Dream actually hung out with the fans and party'd like Rockstars.

Definitely a feel good moment that we've been trying to recreate for 10 years.

I can reminisce about the good ol days. I once ran into Madmax at a bar on Richmond, man that guy could drink. He was with his league mandatory body guard. But I diffidently remember parting on Richmond after they won ! What a blast it was like everyone around you was a good friend. The Rockets have the opportunity to recapture that kind of atmosphere. GET IT DONE LES

The night we won the 1st championship that street was amazing! As far as the eye could see was Rocket fans in and out of their cars, hell we sat in the hatchback with a case of Miller Lite and screamed for hours, the cops did not care, everyone was walking around cheering and drinking in the streets! Those were the good ole days no doubt. As for Mad Max I only met him once and he got me and buddy so drunk at the Pappasitos by the Dome that I threw up in the bathroom!!! Dude could drink some Cuevo 1800 like it was water, I tried to hang but I was young and inexperienced back then. He still had his cast on his arm that night, but it did not slow him down...lol We can only hope we get that championship experience back in our great city again! Go Rockets!!!
