The Lance Berkman interview in the "John and Lance" section was hilarious! Lance is a piece of work.

Interesting that JVG recommended to Alexander that Thibedeau should've been the head coach, but Leslie wanted a bigger name. Bah!

Thanks for the find. I've been doubtful the past few weeks that maybe we've been wrong about Tmac. That in our own Clutchfans world and constant banter, we've convinced ourselves that Tmac doesn't exactly have The Heart of a Champion. It's a different perspective as a hardcore team fan compared to the casual NBA fan. You take the losses harder and look for excuses much quicker.

But it's interesting that there's more and more tidbits that echo what we've said here.

Great stuff from Ric Bucher. Yeah, I agree with everything he said about T-Mac.

This is 100% RIGHT on the money.

TMac is some of the problem and doesn't really want to run....

Bucher did not say anything about Tracy faking injuries.

Good interview. The tidbits about T-mac were disconcerting, yet unsurprising.

So lets see... Tracy apparently isn't comfortable with a running offense, and Yao obviously isn't comfortable with a running offense.

And yet Les Alexander says he wants the team to run and hires a coach that wants to run. Alexander = clueless.

Does Les know nothing about the players that he's handing paychecks to? You've got to be kidding me.

if you truly thought this was insightful, you have a serious problem..

basically 2 r****ds that don't know $hit about basketball are analyzing the Rockets and Tmac using some stupid cliches to make them sound smart.. Justice never said anything that turned out right, he just hugged JVG's nuts the whole time and bashed our whole team.. Ric Bucher, well, ESPN, that's all I am gonna say..

to say that Tmac doesn't like to run because he wants to "run the offense" is just flat out stupid..
to say that Tmac has been "surrounded by great talent" and still didn't make it out of the playoffs is insane.. who? Darrell Armstrong? or David Wesley?

documented facts my a$$... for god's sake stop all the YOF stupidity and try to listen to what the guy said and critically analyze them using your rational mind.. they aren't even close to reality.. the guy just stated that "Tmac, umm, great talent, star, but not superstar, oh, superstars are different, they are great, they want to run, Tmac doesn't, he wants the ball the whole time.." ..

he is our leading assist man you freakin' Bucher.. check the stats and watch some games before exclaiming your knowledge about basketball..

you have a better explanation of why we're sub .500? Or why Tmac is being a complete wuss?

Alot of what Bucher said was spot on, Justice was just tossing the softballs...

TMac and his sympathizers really have no leg (no pun intended) to stand on at this moment.

You're probably not going to take this in a friendly spirit, but what you said and what Bucher said are more in agreement than disagreement. Naturally "our leading assist man" would be the guy who controls the ball (i.e. T-Mac).

Tmac is an extremely talented player, but true super stars like Barkely, Stockton and Malone were typically criticized for not winning titles at this point in their careers, not for never having gotten past the first round.

Great nickname for T-Mac from Bucher: "the morphine drip that is Tracy McGrady." The Morphine Drip is not a good nickname to have, but it still sounds kind of badass. The Iceman. The Mailman. The Morphine Drip.

look, at one point, I really believed that Tmac is being a d!ck and exaggerating the injury because he is a lazy bum and he wants to stay home for the holidays, I hated him and I even wanted him traded.. but after reports came out about his injury and that it is actually a freakin' serious one, I feel bad that I did that and I think he has been wrongfully accused for faking an injury that was actually real and could cost him his career (aggravating a tendon strain especially in the knee is the last thing a professional athlete wants to do) ..

so cut the crap out, Bucher wasn't spot on, he was just throwing out weak generalizations that revealed the fact that he doesn't know $h!t about basketball and he doesn't even attempt to watch the games to make a fair assessment of this team..
