Richard Jefferson has crazy hops if we draft him and we sign Chris Webber no doubt we will be the most exciting team in the NBA check out this alley-oop he caught while at Arizona this dunk is just straight up ridiculous Click on the Richard Jefferson highlight avi: 1747 k http://espn.go.com/nba/draft2001/s/theater.html ------------------ Never underestimate the heart of a Champion
Hard to pass someone like that with those type of AIRTIME SKILLS. ------------------ "Break off the block like Maurice Green" --- Steve Francis President of the Moochie Norris fan club.
Wow, athleticism, I like it! Rockets will use the combined athleticism of their players to go deep in the playoffs this season. You know Wink, I said since last year, we would end up #9 team early on, but I also said next year will be our time...I still feel that way, just gotta make good off-season decisions!! ------------------ I eat nutria now..courtesy of mc mark!!!
I remember watching that, but they had the angle from the side of the endline. It was amazing. He definitely can jump atleast 38 inches. ------------------
Uh, can we say Larry Hughes w/o the NBA handles. If the guy is 6'6 (reports are out, apparently) and can't shoot *already*, he will not play Rudy Tomjonavich's NBA postion on his team. Take that to the BANK!! We will not draft another Shandon Anderson no matter how athletic he is. BET ME!!! all 40% of you!!
This BBS' obsession with raw athleticism is disturbing. I'm willing to bet anyone my username that the Rockets don't even have Jefferson on their wish list. Athleticism coupled with great talents (ie: Steve Francis, Tracy McGrady) can be dangerous, but strictly "mad hops" won't get you anywhere. Jefferson's lack of ball-handling ability, lack of a jumpshot, and lack of height are more than enough for the Rockets to stay away from him. My money is on a big man. ------------------ how could you not want c-webb?
You know Harold Minor was an awesome dunker too... where is he now? ------------------ fiugasodfaklfdje2hroq oifeofwo eoirje iowjfqwe weuh3498rhfnf4a x.cjanf ajldmfsdkafjsaj oq ewrheumc. ,voifojm owiefjma lkdjaslkowierf wlhjoeimwe dsjnfojouhfaoo oijf ieopj ldjffaokpiqeiqq n dn kdsf s fwfl awefldf daaelkmfoiqwe a dsafkmds lfkj w asd fa fcsd;a; da; fd;kj d fwijv weopif qop oi qwoifjj
You know, Kelvin Cato is incredibly athletic... ...I did pick Jefferson in my mockdraft, even though I'm not that high on him. I just figure the Rockets will draft a SF, and he seems the best possibility. ------------------ A few years back on the Senate floor... the Glyde's detractors also pointed to his inconsitent jumper as to why they didn't draft him. Look how that turned out. Yeah, pure hops ain't gonna get somebody anywhere, but y'all make it sound like this guy can't shoot or dribble at all and that he won't be able to. That's a little extreme isn't it? Is it at all possible that Jefferson could develop into a stud? Wasn't it Jefferson who was the only wildcat knockin down J's in the final? Heyousuck, you're probably right that they won't draft this guy, but the rocks will get a new starting 3, and might regret in the future not taking Jefferson (ala Rashard Lewis). ------------------ "I've been on a calendar, but I've never been on time." -Marilyn Monroe
Kimberly, I think thacabbagepatch wants in on the bet. This isn't like Drexler. Drexler had some moves. Jefferson played low post in HS. He may never learn perimeter scoring. That is no certainty by any stretch. For that reason alone, Rudy passes on him.
Being in the west coast I saw a lot of Pac-10 games and this kid is for real. I remember the first game I saw him I didn't really like him, but as I saw more and more of him I saw what he brought to the table. He can hit the three maybe the percentages don't show it but he has a game that reminds me a lot of Rashard Lewis. P.S. I am almost positive he has at least 1-2 inches on Shandon. I can't be 100% positive since I never saw them next to each other but I'm pretty sure. ------------------ "We need to FOCASS".... Akeem Olajuwon
