The MRI Glen Rice is scheduled to have tomorrow will determine whether or not he will be able to return this season. There are some indications he might need surgery and that would put him out for the year. Every interview I've heard or read with Rudy T. or the trainers makes it sound not good. We'll see tomorrow.
I hate to say it, but him being out the entire season might be for the best. It didn't look like his foot was full-strength and playing on it might just keep slowing the recovery. Taking a year off might help make sure he's 100% next year.
Ouch...yet again. Let's hope for the best. If Rice is out for the year, we'd have missed out on the possibility of an injury exception by 7 days. The cut off is at November 30, and Rice's last game was December 6.
Is it just me, or does there seem to be something fishy with this whole deal. Why couldn't he have had this done before, again? Does swelling interfere with an MRI for 2 weeks? I thought initial injuries caused swelling, too, and football players would have MRIs within days of an injury. It seems they were withholding Rice just to rest him, yet needed some better excuse to place him on IR. I'm betting he has an amazing recovery, and comes off IR instantly while Colson gets plantar facsiitis. This way Francis and Rice rejoin the team together...to the surprise of the nba. Taylor comes back at the All-star break. we catch everyone off guard, and bam...playoff run, baby! ...huh? what?! where am I?
If rice is gone for the year, we really got F*****d in the trade. Maybe everything will be ok even though he wasn't doing anything anyway, but I told people he was done. So we didn't wan't to sign our once franchise player because of injury problems, yet we sign a guy who was coming off surgery. Someone please tell me this is a nightmare.

Damn, me too. What I wouldn't give for those 4.9 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and .73 steals per game. That kinda game could turn everything around for us.
When did I say anything about what he posts. I was just saying there is no need to dislike someones negative posting style only to continually do what you dislike by negatively bashing him over and over. At least he's talking about the Rockets and not taking personal shots. I'm just trying to foster less anger towards each other on the bbs. Dont even worry about his posts.
