The other day, I saw Rice's relatively new AD director crying on camera about his firing of their long-time basketball coach. Did the AD develop that close of a bond with the coach in such a short amount of time to be that emotional or was it PR? Me thinks the Bachelor of Science degree isn't the only BS coming out of Rice these days.
Sounds like T-Mac crying after the Utah series. It was a total publicity stunt. Everyone wants this guys head after firing the guy who finally got them a great facility to play in/recruit with. He goes on camera so everyone can see "how upset he is". I'm not a Rice fan or really know anyone that goes to Rice, but this was BS.
Wasn't Rudy T fired the season before the Toyota Center opened? Didn't hear anyone cry for Rudy, and Rudy won 2 championships and wasn't job shopping.
