For all. And, why would he sign the deal and then force a trade? He would be losing all leverage in any deal if that were the case. Unless he means a S&T... to Houston.
Denver should trade him to us quick before they end up like Toronto and getting nothing but a trade exception from NY later
Dangerous because it doesnt appear to be: "I dont want to be a Nugget" it appears to be "I want to be a Knick" Unless that extension is included, I wouldnt make that trade. Getting Paul and Carmello however....
Carmelo is jealous of all the attention Wade, Bosh, and LeDiva got and now he wants his turn. Morey is too smart to trade for a guy who has no intention of signing a new contract until he enjoys his moment in the spotlight.
I posted this in the other forum, with Yao's health issues and the small window of oppurtunity it creates I would make the McNuggets an offer. Play for it all next season knowing it's a one year rental. Worst case, we don't win it all and he leaves giving us massive cap space to use NEW CBA or NOT.
The Rockets have little chance at landing Anthony. Danny Granger might be a slightly more realistic pipe dream.
Yeah... Look... It's no different when folks were posting stuff about Chris Paul. Everyone had post several articles and were kicking it around about trading for him. I don't think it's a big deal. We lost more in Vietnam. It's not like it was a T-Mac Thread...
It's gonna be tough to trade for either one. Granger will be moved but I don't know if Bird needs AB now with Collison.
I'm not going to say Houston wouldn't ever trade Martin but I have a hard time believing Morey would trade him right now. I think he wants to keep him at SG. If this team is going to make an upgrade, it's either going to be for a PG or a SF. I think they're set on Martin being the SG for this team and for the future.
