Why would we laugh about Jones? Jones is one of the best all around players in the game.

vj, you are forgetting Shaq and Payton. But my pick would be Garnett, the same as yours. Garnett is still young only 23, but he is already in the top 3 players in the league. He is THE BIG TICKET, as everyone loves to come see him play. He can do so many things, post up, shoot the outside jumper, rebound, block shots, play d, play above the rim, and he recently developed three point range. Plus he is a great clutch player, has great work ethic, and has so much heart. I just love Garnett's game. Duncan would be my second pick.

scratch Shaq, i didn't see him, but now i do. He would be third only because he is older than Garnett and Duncan.

As I've said before, undoubtedly I give the nod to Tim Duncan. He plays with so much overall skills, maturity, and heart. He has the best array of post moves of anyone today, by far. He can hit the jump hook, can drain the fadeaway, go glass, and hit the 15 foot jumper. He's almost the best rebounder in the game today, is a phenomenal passer from the post, and can even take you off the dribble at times. Furthermore, he's an excellent defender, shotblocker, and is a good free throw shooter. (Re: Shaq) I love KG, don't get me wrong. He would be my 2nd choice. But Duncan gives so much that no one else does. Undoubtedly, he'd be my franchise player.

Cat, I can't argu with you picking Duncan, but I would still pick Garnett. I think Duncan could show a little more emotion though. He is too calm sometimes. I love Duncan's game too. Next to Shaq he is the best rebounder in the game. And his post moves and power inside are amazing. His post moves rival Hakeem's in the glory days, but Hakeem had more. Imagine if Duncan and Dream got together and worked on learning each other's moves and developing new ones.
