Rest of Playoff Schedule won't be released until after Game 1

    This comes from my season ticket rep. He said that the league is looking to maximize their TV revenues this year by trying to put the highest ratings games in prime slots, which is the weekend. The league will evaluate the ratings of this weekend's games and then set the schedule according to the overnights. He said to expect the first game in Houston (Game 3) to be Friday of next week because the Rockets Mavs series will have high ratings. I don't buy it, because I remember hearing last year that the NBA was going to try to make the playoffs quicker because they were so drawn out last year, so take this with a grain of salt.

    I hope it is not true. I have to fly to Houston to watch games. The sooner they release the schedule, the more I can save from air tickets. :(

    He just called me back. He was mistaken, schedule will be out tomorrow. Sorry about that, guys.

    Glad to hear that! I can't buy tickets until I know when the games are. I wish they'd set the schedule already dammit... there might not be any tickets left for me to buy.
