I was talking to an acquaintence this weekend who works in IT. He told me that he had to fix the computer for a VP at his company named Ramon. Ramon apparently has a Latin American accent (i.e. Antonio Banderas) and likes to speak in the third person. As he was fixing his computer, Ramon asked if he wanted coffee because he was getting some for himself. My friend said no thanks and continued working. A few minutes later, Ramon came back from down the hall with no coffee and my friend casually asked what happened. Ramon said that no one had made coffee and... "Ramon does not make coffee." Assuming you could not get fired, what would be your response to Ramon? Enjoy.
does ramon realize that by speaking like antonio banderas he might give people the impression that he's actually from spain?
I see nothing wrong with Ramon's behavior. Ramon is a male, correct? How could he possibly make coffee in the office and maintain any self-respect?
Ha. percicles wins. - Andrew Dice Clay classics "OK, OK... I will make coffee for you, Ramón. I hope Ramón unzips when he goes to the restroom as well."
Coming from someone who drinks Jack Daniels Hard Cola and still maintains an inflated sense of gender self respect, this is kind of funny.
