Hey guys, I'm currently stuck on this HUGE boss, named el gigante. He's like beating me down on every attempt, and I don't get what to do with the freaky alien thing. Can any1 help?
For those who care, tiny spoiler below. Did you save the dog from the trap at the start of the game? if so, he'll eventually show up and distract El Gigante, allowing you to blast away for a while at will. If not, just use the shotgun on him a few times, until he kneels down in pain. then run up to him, it should show that you can press "A" or something to run up on his back. Once you're up there, it'll show you a button to tap rapidly ("B", I think). When you tap this, Leon will slash at the parasite on Gigante's back. Repeat this process a few times- how many depends on how fast you press B. I think you can also shoot at the parasite when he kneels, but why waste the ammo? also, for faqs, I generally go to Gamefaqs- gotta support the Houston guy.
Anyone play the remake on PS5? I just finished this game for like the 5th time now in my lifetime since it launched on GameCube, and it was a super satisfying experience. The remake is AWESOME!
