Not that it will make any difference, but it sure have some interesting match-up if its implemented this season.

    "The NBA should do it.

If the Sixers, a No. 7 seed, knock out Detroit, they would face the winner of the Orlando-Toronto series in the second round. But if the league reseeded the teams, the Sixers would face top-seeded Boston in the second round, assuming the Celtics close out the Atlanta Hawks."

So in other words, f the underdogs - knock the lower seeded teams out as soon as possible. I hope they don't do this.

As if the seeding isn't bad enough already, they now want to go and make it worse?

There's changes to the playoffs structure that NEED to be made, but this is NOT one of them...

This isn't the kind of change they should make. Having the 37-45 Atlanta Hawks in the playoffs instead of the 48-34 Golden State Warriors is the problem.

Re-seeding teams after the 1st round would be a mistake.

Reseeding would make the regular season a lot more meaningful. And seeing as it is a gruelling 82 games that become completely meaningless after your round 1 matchup is determined, it perhaps could use more weight.
