I am headed to Atlanta on Thursday and had called to make a reservation for Thursday and Friday. The hotel I called didn't have a room but they found a room for me. Here's my problem: 1. I had a reservation number but I lost it (think they wife threw out the envelope I had noted it on). Nothing was sent by e- or snail-mail. 2. I can't remember which hotel I called or to which one they referred me. I called the one stuck in my head but they couldn't find my reservation. Is there someone to call to conduct a universal hotel reservation search without a confirmation number or even an exact location? I checked my online bank-- nothing there. I'm hoping the charge will show up tomorrow (cancel privileges up until noon) but I'm not even sure that will happen. Other ideas?
I thought this thread was going to be about a Native American reservation in trouble and need of rescuing, possibly on fire.
if you can't find it in your outgoing call history you might just want to start calling every hotel in the vicinity
I did backtrack the call history but got nowhere except that I got a new reservation at a closer hotel. This is the hotel I called that made the reservation for me at another hotel in their family. Now they are showing no earlier reservation in my name...
