It looks like we will be playing against the Jazz in the 1st round.
Utah is notorious for their loud arena which is known as a difficult place to play.
However, the Rockets/JVG have really stepped up the atmosphere of TC this season with the introduction of the Red Rowdies.
Given the current seeding and performance level of our team, the 6th man will be very important. I think it would be great if we could get the entire TC to be Red Rowdies for the playoffs. Perhaps the rockets can request that every one wear red to the games, or maybe they can even find a nice bunch of sponsors to give away Red T-Shirts to all fans in attendance, Red Towels, etc.
I remember Miami getting their fans to wear white last year, and it worked out pretty well for them.

i love wat miami does, rockets should give away red or black or white t-shirts to every1 in attendance, it just helps create an atmosphere

They should have an ad campaign to tell everyone to wear red.

i deffinely agree with this. all of the same sirt would be even better. come on rockets org. print 18,000 red shirts for the fans. maybe red and white shirts. or, white shirts with red towels. that would be sweet. okay, i'm done.

this definitely needs to happen. the organization needs to step up for the playoffs and create a feverish atmosphere.

they need to hand out t shirts, make sure that all the seats are filled, maybe even sell standing room only tix (maybe against fire codes?) but whatever it is, we need to make it clear to them that they are in houston.

i know with the money to be made for playoff tickets that there is no way they are giving away ticks, but maybe having people requesting to sit next to rowdies get those tickets would be good so they can join in making major noise

during the playoffs the entire arena should be screaming and standing for the whole 48 minutes. i really don't want to sit down for anyone that's standing behind me, why can't we just all stand the whole game... remove all seats at TC

if there are rockets PR reps or something like that we can contact or mass email, we definitely should. we should also hit up sportsradio and newspapers to let our voices be heard. not something unreasonable like removing all seats, but to do something radical and exciting for the playoffs

I don't see how this would be possible, unless you can stop the suits from coming and giving those corporate seats to real fans.

that'll be awesome to have that college atmosphere in the building, but of course there's the corporates and the older fans who just sit in their chair quietly all game long

White shirts with red towels. I LOVE the idea. A mass of white in the arena looks so awesome.
